To find the Lat/Lon of a Google Map location, do the following:
Right click on the map to get a menu that contains a "Center map here" option.
Click on that to center the map on the point you want the Lat/Lon for.
Copy the following line and paste it into your web browser URL field.
javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().getCenter()));
A pop up window should appear with the Lat/Lon in it preselected for you to copy.
Another method is to manually create a new Bookmark containing the above line as the URL.
Now, when you get the map centered, just go and select that bookmark and the popup window will appear.
